What You'll Be Able To Do
Leave ready to add the why to your toolkit.
This isn't a certificate you frame and forget. You finish able to facilitate, debrief, and coach with motivators — the layer behavior alone can't show you.
- Facilitate Driving Forces® sessions for teams — in person and virtually
- Debrief the 12 Driving Forces assessment one-on-one
- Coach teams to communicate better by understanding what motivates each person
- Help new managers understand not just how their people behave, but what drives them
- Benchmark jobs and bring motivators into hiring decisions
You won't start from a blank page.
What surprises most people is how much they walk out with: a complete, ready-to-use deck built for multiple training scenarios, ready to customize to your exact need. You leave equipped to run a session, not just talk about one.
Why It Matters
Behavior tells you how. Driving Forces tells you why.
Motivators tell you what puts gas in someone's tank — what gets them up in the morning, why they show up and do what they do. When you can speak to a person through their why, it lands differently. It's engaging. And you start placing people in roles that actually motivate them for the things they're driven by.
Behavior alone doesn't give you the full picture. Picture someone with a steady, Compliance style who suddenly starts pushing back and speaking up — seemingly out of character. Behavior can't explain it. Their motivators can: a strong drive to command and lead. Once you see the why, it makes sense — and you know how to communicate with them and where they'll actually thrive.
And if you want to use DISC in hiring, you need motivators too — full stop. Jobs get benchmarked on both: not just how someone needs to communicate in a role, but what the role rewards and motivates for, measured against every candidate.

A Real Graduate
What people do with it.
One recent graduate now reaches for the combined Talent Insights report — DISC and Driving Forces together — almost every time.
She says she can't go back to DISC alone: her participants get both the how and the why, and connect with their teams on a deeper level because of it.
The Certification Experience
The sessions are highly engaging — never lecture. Lots of activity and participation, and you learn as much from the other participants' organizations as you do from us. In one recent cohort of about twelve trainers, we paired people by their own motivators — the intellectual drivers who love learning for its own sake alongside the intentional drivers who want to apply it immediately. The synergy was the point: together they learned everything there was to learn and figured out how to use it right away.
Who Should Attend
Built for the people ready to add the why.
The people who get the most from this certification are usually already DISC certified — they know how their people communicate, and they're here to learn why they do what they do, so they can tie the two together. DISC certification isn't required. But come ready to learn: if you're not, this isn't the room for you.
